Northeast Arkansas Chapter Hero Celebration Luncheon

Northeast Arkansas Chapter Hero Celebration Luncheon

Join us at the Northeast Arkansas Chapter of the American Red Cross Hero Celebration Luncheon, Thursday, June 6th at the Cooper Alumni Center, Arkansas State University.

You’re invited to help us celebration the real lifesaving actions of special neighbors from northeast Arkansas, trained and prepared to answer an unexpected call for help.

In addition to honoring amazing local heroes, we will hear from Dave Sanderson, the last passenger rescued from the Miracle on the Hudson, US Airways Flight 1549, known for its successful crash into the Hudson River in New York in January, 2009.

Dave will share his story of how fate can place us in situations for reasons initially unknown. He will explain, like the lifesaving Heroes we honor, the importance of one of the Red Cross efforts to have each able person trained in health and safety. You will want to hear this powerful message.

Funds from the Hero Celebration Luncheon will support the around the clock disaster relief and care provided by the Red Cross.

For more information on sponsorships or other Hero Celebration questions, contact Executive Director, Pam Knapp-Carver at 870-932-3212.
