The Central Kansas American Red Cross has opened up the nomination process for the second annual Heroes Luncheon. The event recognizes the kindness of everyday citizens who perform extraordinary acts of kindness. Citizens within central Kansas are encouraged to nominate a hero and share their story of ordinary people performing extraordinary acts.
The heroes will be honored on June 26th at the HomeTown Heroes Luncheon located at the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center’s Pavilion. At the event, the Heroes and their guests will be honored in front of an audience of approximately 200 community leaders and supporters. Everyone will be treated to lunch and enjoy heartfelt videos produced by Daren Dunn. People are eligible for one of the eight unique Hero categories.
To honor someone, the nominee must live or work within the 14 counties of the Central Kansas American Red Cross.
