Join us for our annual Run for the Red 5K Race and Walk on Sunday, December 4, 2016 in Millburn, New Jersey!
Runners and walkers are welcome for this very fun and very brisk race through the South Mountain Reservation. Grab your favorite winter hat, lace up your sneakers, and let’s hit the pavement! We’ll even supply you with a hot chocolate reward after the race! This great, fundraising event supports Red Cross programs and services that help you, your family, and your neighbors prevent, prepare for, and respond to disaster large and small. Have fun with your family, friends or co-workers while getting fit and saving lives.

FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY:
A free Kids Fun Run will take place at 9:30 a.m. No sign up required; announcement will be made prior. All participants receive a ribbon.
Participants may use strollers during the 5K - strollers will start at the back of the participant group.
EVENT AND COURSE DETAILS:
Participants will enjoy a certified scenic "out and back" course through the tree-lined streets of the South Mountain Reservation. This is a USATF-NJ Grand Prix Event worth 500 points. There will be awards presented for 5K finishers by five-year age groups, fundraising awards for teams, door prizes, a DJ, great snacks and plenty of fun! Additionally, Red Cross blood donors will be provided stickers on event day to recognize them as a “Life Saver.”
This is a rain, snow, or shine event! Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and get ready to have some fun.
Pre-race packet pick-up and registration is available Thursday, December 1 through Saturday, December 3 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at The Sneaker Factory.
Race day packet pick-up and on-site registration will begin on Sunday, December 4 at 8:30 a.m. at The Millburn Free Public Library.
