American Red Cross Hero Awards of Greater Cleveland

Greater Cleveland Hero Awards

The Hero Awards are a Red Cross tradition honoring individuals who have shown extraordinary courage, compassion and humanity by saving or improving the lives of others. The values we recognize in our Heroes mirror those that motivate and inspire the work of the Red Cross.

We’re honoring heroes from Cuyahoga, Lake and Geauga Counties who helped save or improve a life or lives in some unselfish way.

The luncheon event is sponsored by many of the region’s philanthropic and corporate leaders, raising approximately $180,000 to support the important mission of the Red Cross. The 300-500 person audience is made up of business leaders, heroes and their families. Those who attend this well-loved community event are inspired by the heroes’ stories and encouraged to become more engaged in their communities and favorite causes.

We hope to inspire some to volunteer for the Red Cross.

Also at the 2018 Greater Cleveland Hero Awards, The Cleveland Indians will be honored with the Community Leader Awards, for the organization’s commitment to the well-being of the community.

The 2018 Greater Cleveland Hero Awards will be held at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland on Wednesday, March 14, beginning at 11:30 AM. For information on sponsorships or tickets, contact Rita Russo at 216-272-1265, or email rita.russo@redcross.org.
