Swing Red Golf Tournament

The Orange County Chapter was charted in 1817 and has provided service to our residents since that time. The primary chapter jurisdiction is Orange and Newton Counties. the chapter was assigned the responsibility of five other counties in 2000. A branch office, located in Lufkin serves Angelina, Nacogdoches, San Augustine, Shelby, and Sabine Counties for the chapter.

The chapter provides services including disaster response and preparedness, CPR/AED and First Aid training, safety training, service to the armed forces emergency communication to all counties and utility assistance in concordance with Project Care of Texas and the Hospital Volunteer Program in Orange County.

The American Red Cross of Southeast and Deep East Texas has been serving the community since 1917. The history of the this chapter is replete with examples of everyday people doing extraordinary deeds to alleviate human suffering. Throughout the chapter's rich history, the services that have been provided serve as a window through which the history and culture of our community can be viewed. Today, the Southeast and Deep East Texas Chapter serves Angelina, Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson, Nacogdoches, Newton, Orange, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Tyler counties with life-saving services including disaster relief, CPR training, disaster relief and military support.
