This event will occur every 3rd Saturday of the month.
Seven times a day in the United States, someone dies in a home fire. Even more frequently, American Red Cross volunteers provide help to families who have lost their homes to devastating fires. It’s more important than ever that we all join together to save lives, reduce injuries and cut down on needless losses from home fires.
We are asking you to join us in our nationwide initiative to reduce the number of fire deaths and injuries in the U.S. by 25 percent within five years.
Red Cross volunteers and community partners will be visiting homes in the Casper area every 3rd Saturday to install free smoke alarms, replace batteries, and help residents with their emergency plans.
If you live in the Casper area and would like to request a home visit, make an appointment online at www.redcross.setmore.com or by calling 307-439-4167.
If you would like to volunteer to us save lives through this campaign, you can join a team to install smoke alarms, replace batteries and teach residents how to test and maintain their smoke alarms. Sign up to volunteer here: https://volunteerconnection.redcross.org/?nd=form__5327
