Emergency Preparedness Academy 2014

Red Cross Saint Louis Academy 2014

After a disaster, up to 40 percent of affected businesses never reopen. For your organization’s survival – and for the safety of your staff and associates – you need an emergency response plan. The American Red Cross is here to help.

At our 3rd annual Emergency Preparedness Academy, you will learn strategies from experts in the field to create your organization’s plan, mitigate hazards and improve your response. From businesses with developed continuity plans to schools and community organizations new to preparedness, participants will learn ways to develop and refine emergency strategies.

Topics will include:

  • Responding to Active Shooters
  • Small Business Preparedness
  • School Emergency Preparedness and the Law
  • Faith-Based Disaster Relief Plans
