After a two-year hiatus, the Great Chefs Dinner to benefit the American Red Cross of Central New York is back and returning to its roots. The 28th Great Chefs will start at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at the Skaneateles Country Club, which served as the site for many Great Chefs over the years.
The Great Chefs will feature several of the best chefs from the finest restaurants in Central New York. The menu will consist of seven courses, including appetizers, passed hors d'oeuvres, amuse-bouches, entrees and desserts.
The event will also feature silent and live auctions, with the proceeds benefitting the American Red Cross of Central New York disaster services. Among the live auction items: Two dinners for up to 10 guests at an agreed-upon date, when one of the experienced chefs from the Syracuse Chapter of the American Culinary Federation will lead a team of ACF chefs to provide a six-course dinner with paired wines.
