Preparedness On The Square promotes emergency preparedness among Houston families, employees, businesses and communities. This lunch-time event is held in downtown at the reflecting pool behind City Hall – the perfect venue for attracting downtown workers with a mix of fun and life-saving information.

Food: Chik-Fil-A, James Coney Island, Freebirds, My Fit Foods (2013 Restaurants)

Entertainment: Live Music, Houston Astros Baseball Pitch, Houston Dynamo Soccer Kick Game, Houston Rockets Hoops, Houston Texans Football Pass Game

Participants: Red Cross programs and services, City and County preparedness agencies, Fire Department, Police Department and many other organizations that promote preparedness
