Soup’s On has hit a milestone...we’re celebrating 20 years of great gourmet soups made by some of our favorite Fox Valley chefs and restaurants. And to spice things up, we’re turning Soup’s On into a High School Challenge!
Ten high school cooking classes will each be paired up with one of our partner restaurants to create a winning soup recipe to serve at Soup’s On. The cooks that made the soup voted as the favorite of the night will receive the coveted Platinum Ladle Trophy.
High School teams will also be campaigning for votes to raise the most dollars to support the Red Cross (1 vote = $1). The school that raises the most funds will receive a $1,000 cash award to purchase new cooking equipment for their consumer education classes. They will also receive the Crème de la Crème Fundraising Trophy to display in their high school's trophy case.
As always, you’ll enjoy savory grilled cheese sandwiches, mouth-watering appetizers and a variety of desserts.
