Save the Date - Celebrate the Red:

  • 113 Years of Red Cross in Santa Cruz County
  • Friday, September 30, 2011 from 5:30p.m. to 8:30p.m.
  • Chaminade Resort & Spa, Santa Cruz
  • The American Red Cross Santa Cruz County Chapter is holding our Celebrate the Red: 113 Years of Red Cross in Santa Cruz County fundraiser on September 30, 2011. The event will be held at the Chaminade Resort and Spa in Santa Cruz and will feature local wines, a silent and live auction, accompanied by jazz music.

    The Master of Ceremonies will be former Police Chief of Watsonville, Terry Medina and Central Coast Morning Anchor, Colleen Chen.

    All proceeds from this event will help ensure the continuation of the many essential services provided by your local American Red Cross such as:

  • Disaster Relief – Emergency services for victims of all disasters, including local home fires.
  • Emergency Preparedness – Life-saving First aid, CPR, and disaster preparedness training courses.
  • Blood Services – Keeping our region supplied with life-saving blood
  • Service to Armed Forces – Emergency communication between service members and their families.
  • Youth Services – Building leadership and humanitarian skills in local high school and college students.
  • We are asking for your support of this worthwhile event.
