Kern Chapter Responds to Family Fire on 2000 Block of F Street

September 10th - The Kern Chapter Disaster Action Team volunteers were busy early this morning assisting a single family (2 Adults) affected by a home fire.

The fire occurred on the 2000 Block of F Street in Bakersfield.

The family was assisted with food, shelter, water, comfort kits, and other necessities, as well as much needed resources and referral guidance.

This call marks the 74th family with a total of 303 individuals (192 Adults, 101 Children, and 10 infants) needing assistance because of home fires already this year.
