Kern Red Cross Responds to Second Apartment Fire in 2 Days 600 Block of Pacheco Road, Bakersfield

December 14th: The Kern Chapter volunteers have responded to another apartment fire, assisting those affected by the apartment fire on the 600 Block of Pacheco in Bakersfield.

The Red Cross volunteers assisted 9 people affected, including a 2 month old baby, by providing shelter, water, toys, comfort kits, and other necessities, as well as much needed resources and 1referral guidance.

This call marks the 99th family with a total of 428 individuals (249 Adults, 168 Children, and 11 infants) needing assistance because of home fires already this year.
