The American Red Cross will be honoring local volunteer Denise Graf at the Chester County Heroes Breakfast on Wednesday, April 25th, 2012 from 7:30-9:00am at the Desmond Great Valley Hotel.
Approximately 100 people will be on hand. The Heroes Breakfast recognizes and celebrates individuals whose determination and exceptional efforts exemplify the mission and qualities of the Red Cross.
Graf, who works for Vanguard in Malvern, has been volunteering with the Red Cross since October of 2005 and has served as the Disaster Action Team Captain since April of 2008. She provides tremendous leadership, dedication and service, going above and beyond in order to help others.
Graf works with disaster survivors to get them financial and emotional support. As Captain, she has additionally strengthened partnerships with local organizations such as the Chester County Department of Emergency Services, and the Chester County Food Bank.
All are invited to come and celebrate this extraordinary individual. Tickets are $40. Contact Lisa Piraino at 215-299-4078 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. All proceeds directly support the Red Cross’ continuing efforts to make a local impact in the Philadelphia area.
Likely attendees include fellow speaker Grant Everhart, various Chester County politicians (including Denise’s Downingtown mayor and State Representative candidate Josh Maxwell), as well as all the members of the Chester County Leadership Council.
The American Red Cross in Philadelphia shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies more than 40 percent of the nation's blood; teaches skills that save lives; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families.
