SANTA CRUZ, CA (February 24, 2012) – Volunteers from the American Red Cross Santa Cruz County Chapter were on the scene providing emergency assistance to 26 people displaced by a fire in Watsonville last night. Volunteers provided temporary shelter as well as care and comfort, and the local chapter will work with the residents to assist with their long-term recovery.
