San Antonio Red Cross Responds to Two Separate Fires

SAN ANTONIO, TX, December 30, 2012 - The American Red Cross, San Antonio Area Chapter, deployed two Disaster Action Teams this morning to assist victims of fires.

The San Antonio Area Team responded at 3:30 am to a call in the 800 block of Schley, where two apartment units with one person in each unit were affected. Those affected were provided with food, clothing and temporary housing.

The second team was called later in the morning to a mobile home fire in Poteet in the 300 block of Viewpoint Drive to assist two adults and one teen. The family was provided with clothing, food, bedding, and temporary housing.
