Tuesday, April 8th, 2014 — Country music superstar Sara Evans will be interrupting her nationwide tour to hold a special concert to benefit the East Tennessee Region of the American Red Cross.
The 3rd Annual Red, White, and Rock concert is being hosted by Scripps Networks Interactive at their studios on 9721 Sherrill Blvd. on April 24th. Doors open at 6pm. Dinner and a complimentary cocktail hour are included.
All guests will also have the opportunity to meet Sara and have their picture taken with the artist.
Red, White, and Rock is the marquee fundraiser of the year for the East Tennessee Red Cross. Organizers expect this event to be better than ever. “Sara Evans embodies the true spirit of the Red Cross. She is a woman with a lot on her plate, but like so many of our dedicated donors and volunteers, she’s taking the time to give back to those in need,” said Red Cross East Tennessee Regional Chapter Executive Michelle Hankes. “We hope others will join Sara and take part in what will truly be a special event.”
Sara Evans launched her new album Slow Me Down on March 11th. The album has received high praise from top critics in the country music industry. Guests of Red, White, and Rock will be some of the first in the country to hear a live performance of select songs from the album.
Sara Evans’ support of the American Red Cross runs deep. She has been a member of the Red Cross celebrity cabinet since witnessing the amazing efforts by volunteers following the deadly tsunami off the coast of the Philippines in 2005.
