American Red Cross’ workforce is 96% volunteers who put their compassion into action to serve their communities. This has been one of the great constants throughout its 134-year history and we can be sure that it will always remain a huge part of the Red Cross’ mission. Without the dedicated volunteers, the organization would not be able to deliver the goals of the American Red Cross.
