POMPANO BEACH, Fla., March 13, 2018 — Local American Red Cross volunteers responded to a multi-family fire on Riverside Drive in Pompano Beach early this morning. The team of Red Cross volunteers is helping to coordinate emergency aid for the families. Fire officials say an estimated 120 people have been affected by the blaze.  The Red Cross is assessing the immediate emergency needs such as food, temporary shelter and clothing, and providing casework, health and mental health services.
