Fort Myers, Fla., January 18, 2018 — The American Red Cross Southern Gulf Chapter is pleased to announce their Centennial Celebration & Gala. Chaired by Elizabeth Star, the event will honor our founders and celebrate 100 years of excellence and service in the community.

On Friday, March 9, 2018, community leaders will gather at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples for the centennial ceremony. The event will begin with a cocktail reception followed by dinner and special presentation showcasing the Red Cross support to the community. Party on the Moon will provide the entertainment as we dance the night away.

“It is with great pride that we honor the work of the Red Cross volunteers and personnel in our community,” said Elizabeth Star, Committee Chair. “We are thankful for the Red Cross’ dedication to serving the Southern Gulf region”

Since its inception, the American Red Cross has helped hundreds of thousands of residents affected by local disasters and emergencies. Today, Florida's Southern Gulf Chapter serving Collier, Lee, Hendry and Glades counties serves nearly 1 million residents. Our community counts on the Red Cross to help in times of need.
