Kennebunk, York & Windham Residents Join Red Cross Board of Directors

Red Cross of Southern Maine Expands Board of Directors

PORTLAND (November 10th) – The American Red Cross of Maine is proud to announce the latest additions to serve on its Southern Maine Chapter Board of Directors.  Louis Pollock, a from York, Matt Harmon of Maine Employers' Mutual Insurance Company (MEMIC) from Windham and Shawn McEwen, the owner of Sea Salt, LLC from Kennebunk, are the latest addition to the board.

Louis Pollock (of York) is a retired Captain with the United States Navy and former President of the International Division and Corporate Senior Vice President with IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. Lou has also served as a member of several board of directors, including for-profit and non- profit organizations.  Lou currently resides in York, Maine.

Shawn McEwen (of Kennebunk) is the owner and operator of Sea Salt, LLC, a full line international wholesale seafood business and Sea Salt Restaurant in Saco.  For the last seven years, Shawn has been living and breathing the seafood business; however, when not working he enjoys spending time on the ocean.  Currently, Shawn lives in Kennebunk with his wife Amy and three wonderful children.

Matt Harmon (of Windham) is The MEMIC Group’s Senior Vice President of Claims, a position he has held since 2015.  In this role, Harmon oversees all claim-related activities for MEMIC across the US.  A graduate of Windham High School and the University of Maine, Harmon began his insurance career at MEMIC in 1994 holding positions of increasing responsibility throughout the years.  Currently, Matt lives in Windham and when not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.|
