Cedar Fair Partners With the American Red Cross to Make an Impact This Summer

RICHMOND, Va. (June 2, 2016) — The American Red Cross and Cedar Fair Charities theme parks are teaming up to encourage community members to enjoy rides, adventure, family fun, and much more this summer while supporting the Red Cross in communities across the country.

In partnership with the Red Cross, Cedar Fair theme parks are offering discounted pricing for the 2016 season and will donate $2 of every ticket sale to the Red Cross to support the humanitarian mission. Red Cross supporters can visit between June 1 and September 5, 2016 to take advantage of the discounts.

The Cedar Fair parks included in the promotion are: California’s Great Adventure, Carowinds, Cedar Point, Dorney Park, Kings Dominion, Kings Island, Knott’s Berry Farm, Michigan Adventure, Valley Fair and Worlds of Fun. Blood and platelet donors can get in on the fun, too. All donors presenting to give blood or platelets this summer, through September 5, have the opportunity to win a Grand Prize Package that includes four free theme park tickets to either Cedar Point or Knott’s Berry Farm, travel and hotel accommodations.
