NEWARK, N.Y. (May 19, 2015) — The Finger Lakes Chapter of the American Red Cross will host its next Volunteer Enrollment event from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, at the Red Cross office, 400 S. Main St., Newark.
The event is open to anyone interested in learning about the ways in which the Red Cross supports residents in Seneca, Wayne and Yates counties. Red Cross staff members and current volunteers will be available to discuss volunteer opportunities in several lines of service: Disaster Services, Blood Services, Service to the Armed Forces, and Health and Safety Services.
The Red Cross is hosting Volunteer Enrollment events held every fourth Wednesday of the month from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in either Newark or Seneca Falls. Here are the dates and locations of the Volunteer Enrollment events this summer:
Newark: Red Cross office, 400 S. Main St., Newark
• May 27: 1-2:30 p.m.
• July 22: 1-2:30 p.m.
Seneca Falls: Red Cross office, 83 W. Bayard St., Seneca Falls
