Red Cross To Help Prepare Hundreds in Moore

Moore, OK - On Saturday, November 15, 2014, The American Red Cross plans to give out preparedness kits to residents affected by the May 2013 tornadoes storms. Volunteers will be in Moore, Oklahoma at the Southgate Baptist Church for the distribution of these lifesaving items.

The Red Cross will also be providing 300 weather radios to families not impacted by the May 2013 tornadoes. Radios will be provided one per family while supplies last.

At the event, the Oklahoma Tornado Foundation will be presenting the Red Cross with a $10,000 donation to keep preparedness front and center throughout Oklahoma communities. The American Red Cross is not a government agency and relies on donors to provide its services.
