Allentown, PA – On July 26, 2014 at approximately 12 P.M., the American Red Cross Greater Lehigh Valley Chapter responded to a multi-family fire on Crane Street in Catasauqua. The Red Cross provided one family (2 adults) with food and clothing and a second family (2 adults/4 children) with food, lodging and clothing. The Red Cross will follow-up with the family for additional services, as needed.
Make a difference in the lives of others by becoming a Red Cross volunteer with the disaster team. For individuals and families who have been personally affected by a fire or disaster - the offer of a warm blanket, the means to purchase food and clothing, lodging, personal hygiene items like those found in a comfort kit, even a stuffed animal for a child can make all the difference for a hopeful tomorrow.
