Hazleton, PA – Heather Bleiler of Mountaintop will be the Keynote Speaker at the Celebration of Life Walk on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Whispering Willows Park in Conyngham.
Heather’s 2-year-old son, Paxton Nathanial Bleiler, received three lifesaving blood transfusions in the first two days of his life. Paxton was born prematurely due to a fetal maternal hemorrhage. Paxton’s survival depended on those lifesaving blood transfusions. Heather will share her son’s incredible story at the Celebration of Life Walk, an event that honors local blood donors and members of the U.S. Armed Forces, veterans and their families.
The Walk will feature a picnic lunch, music and prizes. Registration is $5 per person and the event begins at 10:45 a.m. To register, contact the Hazleton Chapter at (570) 455-9517 or visit www.redcross.org/pa/hazleton. Proceeds benefit the programs and services of the Hazleton Chapter of the American Red Cross.
