CHARLESTON, S.C., Tuesday, Jan. 21 -- American Red Cross disaster-trained volunteers are at Woodbridge Apartments West of the Ashley meeting one-on-one with residents affected by this morning's fire that damaged 20 units. It is estimated that at least 35 people have been displaced. Red Cross is meeting the immediate needs of residents including assistance with lodging, food, and clothing. Residents will also be offered mental health counseling if needed.
