Dallas-Fort Worth, TX – January 15, 2015 – The banks of the Trinity River will be rockin’ when the 2nd Annual Red Cross B*A*S*H, sponsored by Bell Helicopter, a Textron Company, takes place on Saturday, March 7 at “The Shack” at Panther Island. The band, Green River Ordinance, a Fort Worth based local favorite, will headline a free concert for B*A*S*H guests. Other fun activities include an outdoor adventure area, some of Fort Worth’s finest food trucks, a silent auction and more! Guests are encouraged to dress in their best “military chic” attire. All proceeds from the event will benefit the American Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces program which provides global support to America’s military families.

“The Red Cross B*A*S*H gives our local community the chance to support service members from enlistment to life after the military,” said Honorary Event Chair, Dennis Shingleton, Fort Worth city council member and Red Cross board member. “Last year alone, the Red Cross helped 4,900 members of the military and their families’ right here in the Metroplex. With more than 625,000 veterans in North Texas, the military services provided by the American Red Cross are critical.
Shingleton goes on to explain that the American Red Cross provides emergency communications 24/7, deployment and reintegration services, financial assistance and more.
