The American Red Cross Tsunami Recovery Program is focusing on programs within its core areas of expertise and working closely with its partners to avoid duplication of services and extend its reach. The American Red Cross works alongside local Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies in the affected countries, other partners in the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and other global humanitarian organizations.
