Red Cross Products focus on everyday safety, wellness and preparedness. Everyday emergencies come in many forms -- colds and flu, winter road conditions, even a new baby with a fever. The Red Cross wants families to have the confidence and peace of mind that goes along with knowing they are prepared for all of life's everyday emergencies. Baby wellness items, emergency radios, books on family caregiving, auto safety products, hand sanitizer, disposable gloves and preparedness kits are included in the initial line of "Be Red Cross Ready" products available online and in retail outlets across the country.

   American Red Cross Work & Medical Exam Gloves

   

   American Red Cross has teamed up with Magla Products to offer top-quality, dependable hand protection. The current product line includes work gloves and disposable gloves. All disposable gloves -- the latex, powder-free, Nyplex and Nitrile - are available in a 10-count bag as well as a 40 or 80-count dispenser boxes. The Nitrile and Nyplex style are a favorable substitute for latex. All American Red Cross medical exam gloves are lot controlled and meet the ASTM standards for quality. Between 3 -- 4.5 percent of the sales price supports the American Red Cross.

   American Red Cross Infant Care Products

   

   American Red Cross has created a line of infant and child care products with the leading infant care product manufacturer The First Years. The baby products line includes items such as thermometers, health care kits and wellness accessories. These items are available at Babies R Us and Target. Between 2-3 percent of the retail price will support the American Red Cross.

   American Red Cross Emergency Radios
   

   

   Be prepared with American Red Cross emergency radios from Eton Corporation. With no batteries needed, a built-in flashlight and cell-phone charger, this line of four radios is ideal for emergencies, providing instant access to local news, critical weather and other emergency alerts. The radios retail for $50-60, and select models are available various retail locations. Eton Corporation will contribute between 70 cents from each radio sold to support the American Red Cross.

   Be Red Cross Ready with the American Red Cross line of hand sanitizer gel provided by Waterjel Technologies for retail distribution nationwide. Other family care products by the American Red Cross will include muscle gel and eyewash. This product will donate 5 percent of the retail price to the American Red Cross.

   A new step-by-step guide for caring for loved ones at home is the American Red Cross Family Guide. Staywell Publishing and the American Red Cross launched the Be Red Cross Ready Safety Series, a line of portable, at-a-glance reference guides designed to help America's families and communities be safe. Look for other titles covering family first aid and preparedness, pediatric first aid, and dog and cat first aid.

   The latest addition to the "Be Red Cross Ready" line of safety and preparedness products are auto safety kits and accessories developed with Team Products International. The current product line includes four kits and four stand alone accessories. These products are designed to help drivers address most road incidents safely and effectively so they can get back on the road. Retail prices are expected to be between $9.99 and $49.99 and are available in all major channels, catalogs, and internet outlets. Between 2.5 - 5 percent of the retail price will directly support the mission of the Red Cross.
