WASHINGTON, Tuesday, November 23, 2004 — The multi-platinum country group SHeDAISY is pleased to formally announce their much-rumored partnership with the American Red Cross. The partnership aims to raise awareness and funds to support active duty military personnel and their families as well as members of the National Guard and Reserves and their families through American Red Cross military support services.

The alliance comes on the heels of the overwhelming support and response that SHeDAISY has received from fans across the country moved by their current hit single and video, “Come Home Soon,” from their latest album Sweet Right Here.  The song, co-written by SHeDAISY’s Kristyn Osborn, has touched the hearts of people across the country in recent months.  Letters from hundreds have poured in to the group’s website sharing their personal stories including those from American military families waiting for their loves ones to return from overseas.

"We are thrilled to be working with an organization as prestigious as the American Red Cross to support our military personnel and their families,” said SHeDAISY. “‘Come Home Soon’ is our tribute to the sacrifices that these brave men and women and their families make everyday while separated from those that they love the most.  We look forward to working with the American Red Cross over the course of the next year."

Military families across the U.S. are feeling the pains of uncertainty and separation. Aware of this vulnerability, American Red Cross chapters across the nation have established local support groups where family members of deployed service men and women can connect, offering both encouragement and understanding during these anxious days.

"The American Red Cross has a mission to help military families," said Joe Becker, Vice President of Response. "Support groups offer a way for the families to come together and be with people who are going through the same things they are.”

The partnership’s first of what is intended to be several initiatives will be the sale of a "Come Home Soon" bracelet that is currently available at www.shedaisy.com.  All of the proceeds from the sale of the bracelet will be donated to the Red Cross Armed Forces Emergency Services program, which reaches out to military personnel, including 1.4 million active military members and 1.2 million members of the National Guard and Reserves, and their families providing support both in times of peace and conflict. In the coming months, the partnership will continue to evolve.
