WHO:	American Red Cross President and CEO Marty Evans. Red Cross President and CEO Marsha Evans traveled to hurricane raged Florida to see the American Red Cross in action.
WHAT:	Toll-free telephone press briefing. Marty Evans will provide a brief update on the Red Cross relief operations in Florida, followed by a question and answer period with reporters. Evans will be joined on the call by Joe Becker, Vice President/Response, American Red Cross.

WHY:	With Hurricane Frances hitting Florida only days after Hurricane Charley struck the state, the Red Cross continues to shelter many residents, offer mental health counseling, and much more. With nearly 900 chapters, the American Red Cross response to Hurricane Charley and Frances is one of the largest Red Cross responses in our history. Five thousand Red Cross volunteers from across the United States have joined the massive response effort in Florida.
