A heart attack victim survived because of my CPR training

I was working and the man I was talking with suddenly collapsed. I check and there were no signs of life. I told a man to call 911 and immediately began CPR. Within minutes an EMS team arrived to continue treatment. The man was defibrillated, stabilized for transport and taken to the nearest hospital. Because of my training with the American Red Cross another heart attack victim survived. I was most pleased to received a call from his brother telling me how they were going to spend more time together, and that it all was going to happen because of Red Cross CPR.
