In February 2006 I was diagnosed as being very anemic. I later learned I had uterine cancer at age 30. I was told I had to have a hysterectomy. I had to have 2 units of blood to replace my own. I felt very tired. I went in and had my hysterectomy. I flat lined because I was so weak and my blood was like water and wouldn't clot. I had to have 14 units of blood. I am so thankful for all you do and without the Red Cross I would be dead!! I am cancer free!!!
