Oxygen Administration

The ideal supplement to American Red Cross CPR training, this course (2 hours for lay responders and 3 hours for professional rescuers) focuses on the use of supplemental oxygen equipment through lecture, video, demonstration and hands-on practice. Participants learn to safely use:

• Resuscitation and bag-valve masks
• Supplemental oxygen cylinders, regulators and delivery devices
• Suction devices

Oral and nasal airways (professional rescuer course only
