First Aid for Children Today (FACT)

The national benchmarking format was used when creating the First Aid for Children Todaycurriculum alignment charts. This format breaks the courses up among three grade groups: K-4, 5-8 and 9-12.

Health – Grades K-4
Science – Grades K-4

The FACT Critter Clan leads kids through health promotion and injury prevention activities. Its environmental theme teaches safety in a nonthreatening way. Topics include hygiene and health habits, first aid, personal safety and injury prevention. Instructor training is not required to teach this course.

Course hours: 10-14 hours
