The Masters of Disaster curriculum helps teachers integrate important disaster safety information into their regular lesson plans for core subjects, such as language arts, math, science and social studies. This is not an additional subject for teachers to work into an already packed school day. The Masters of Disaster curriculum supplements the lessons teachers are already teaching and at the same time provides students with information to help them prepare for disasters and stay safe during and after a disaster.

The Masters of Disaster curriculum contains ready-to-go lessons, activities and demonstrations on disaster-related topics that teachers can integrate into their daily classes.

National Education Standards charts are included at the front of each of the Masters of Disaster lesson plans books. They show standards for science, math, language arts and social studies. Please note that the charts are divided among these grade groups: K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12.

Course hours: Varies
