The American Red Cross is this year’s charitable partner of the ASICS World Series of Beach Volleyball, the biggest beach volleyball festival featuring the world's best professional beach volleyball players, music festival and interactive fan village in Long Beach, Calif. July 22 through July 28. The event will feature the inaugural World Series Cup with the best of the U.S. taking on the world for international bragging rights live on NBC. Fans, spectators and viewers from around the world are encouraged to #JoinIn the excitement by taking action to save lives, alleviating suffering, and be safe at the beach this summer.

“It is our privilege to support the vital work of the Red Cross,” said Leonard Armato creator and producer of the ASICS World Series of Beach Volleyball. “Almost every person is touched by their outstanding efforts in one-way-or-another. As a global event, we are proud to help support their efforts. When an international crisis occurs the Red Cross is there to help those in need. We are thrilled to be able to offer them a platform through our event and our partnership with NBC to further their mission and help generate funds, volunteers and exposure.”

Kerri Walsh Jennings, a three-time Olympic gold medalist and pro beach volleyball star, teamed up with Elisabeth Rohm, an American Red Cross National Celebrity Cabinet Member to announce the charitable partnership. #JoinIn the conversation on Twitter and Facebook.
