Parent and Child Aquatics

Class Format - Classroom ID: 88d796d2a7 The two levels of Parent and Child Aquatics build basic water safety skills for both parents and children, helping infants and young children ages 6 months to approximately 3 years become comfortable in the water so they are willing and ready to learn to swim. These basic skills include adjusting to the water environment, showing comfort while maintaining a front and back position in the water and demonstrating breath control, including blowing or voluntarily submerging under water. A parent or other caregiver must accompany each child into the water and participate in each class.
