Adult First Aid/CPR/AED

Class Format - Classroom ID: 04951193 The Adult First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims about 12 years and older. Successful students will receive a certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years. SIM/Blended Learning Additional Description IMPORTANT: This training has an ONLINE portion that MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE the skills session There are two parts to this program. Both must be completed in order to receive certification. After completing registration you will receive an automated email giving you directions on how to access and complete the online portion of the program. If you do not receive, please contact the Training Support Center 1-800-733-2767. Directions: 1) Access the online/web-based portion of the class. 2) Successfully complete the online program, including the assessment with a score of 80% or better. 3) Print a copy of the Course Completion Certificate and bring it to your skills session. 4) Participate and successfully demonstrate all skills required for your certification. 5) Your instructor can only issue Red Cross certifications to students who have successfully completed both parts.
