Advanced Child Care Training w/Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

Class Format - Blended ID: 05121969 Targeting adult learners (16+) the American Red Cross Advanced Child Care Training course teaches the knowledge and skills necessary to responsibly care for children and infants in and outside of the home. Learn leadership, child behavior and discipline, professionalism, safety, basic childcare (bottle feeding, holding, etc.), as well as training toward certification in Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. This blended learning course combines online learning with comprehensive instructor-led training. The onlinelearning session must be successfully completed before participants can attend the in-person session. After successful completion of the online and classroom sessions, learners will receive the following certifications, each valid for 2 years: - Advanced Child Care Training - Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Note: This program is not intended as certification for state licensed child-care providers and does not meet all state requirements for such certification. Online components need to be completed prior to attending the skills session. Please bring a copy of your successful completion with you to the class.
