USF has seen its share of cardiac incidents: on the softball field, in football stadium, and within our own classrooms & offices. If an emergency happened to the girl or guy sitting next to you in class...would you know what to do? What if it happened to you...would your neighbor know what to do?
Only a fraction of the campus & community have been trained in CPR. Do you know how & when to perform Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation? Or how to use an Automated External Defibrillator to save a life? If your answer to either of those questions was "NO" then come out and learn at the second annual USF Red Cross Club's CPR: Certify-A-Bull!
We at the American Red Cross find it CRITICAL that all USF students and community members learn basic CPR & AED use. That's why we are sponsoring a CPR course to kickstart a series of CPR classes on campus. While we normally offer classes at a higher rate to cover our costs, our Red Cross Club is sponsoring this class and thus it will only cost students $19!
We are hosting a mass CPR event where USF students will be teaching CPR to fellow students and members of the community. The American Red Cross Club at USF has worked tirelessly to make this event a success.
To be part of this CPR/AED awareness, please mark your calendar for April 16th from 10:30a.m. through 3:00p.m. and purchase your $19 ticket today. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
Contact the USF Red Cross Club at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions
