50th Anniversary of Free Annual Summer Swim Program

Red Cross Hawaii Aquatics Program
Now is a great time to review water safety precautions so you know what to do to stay safe.

As part of our mission of saving lives, the American Red Cross started a FREE Annual Summer Swim Program at Ala Moana Beach Park 50 years ago. Each summer, volunteer certified water safety instructors and youth teach hundreds of adults and keiki how to swim. Many of these participants would not otherwise be able to afford swimming lessons.

There is no cost for this summer swim program, thanks to Red Cross volunteers and sponsors.
