American Red Cross Opens Shelters in Kentucky


LOUISVILLE, KY, Wednesday, October 31, 2012 — The American Red Cross will open two shelters today for those displaced from their homes.

Shelter locations:

OPENS AT 5:00pm

  • Muldraugh Elementary School
  • 202 Wendell Street, Muldraugh, KY 40155

    OPENS AT 6:00pm

  • Stuart Middle School
  • 4601 Valley Station Road, Louisville, KY 40272

    The Red Cross will continue to work with local officials and emergency management. Shelters will remain open as long as there may be a need.
