As fires raged in Montana, local volunteer deployed

When a series of fires broke out across southeastern Montana in early July, Rick Anderson of Arroyo Grande was one of the Red Cross volunteers who responded. Anderson’s first Red Cross deployment had him covering hundreds of miles in Montana, traveling between Ashland and Billings and through Crow and Chey-enne reservations to assess fire damage and assist local communities.
