Red Cross Assists Families after Home Fire
Volunteers provided for the emergency disaster caused needs of 10 individuals.

The American Red Cross Central Illinois Chapter provided emergency assistance in response to a fire to four families after the fire damaged an apartment building that was the residence for more than 20 people.

The fire occurred on Saturday, July 6 at approximately 5 p.m. in the 100 block of NE Roanoke in Peoria, Illinois. Volunteers provided for the emergency disaster caused needs of 10 individuals.

The community can help those affected by future disasters by volunteering with the American Red Cross and/or making a contribution to American Red Cross Local Disaster Relief.
