Cousins Get Together To Help

Cousins get together to raise funds for the Red Cross by selling lemonade

Memorial Day Weekend: 2013. My sisters, two cousins and I decided to hold a lemonade stand for the people who were affected by the tragic tornadoes in Oklahoma. In the hot Arizona sun, we sat alongside a busy road, screaming, "LEMONADE FOR OKLAHOMA!", waving signs and American flags. Within one hour, we had had cars pull over, people parking on the intersecting streets and coming to buy our lemonade. People were very supportive. Not everyone who stopped bought lemonade, but overall, we made $100!
