Eagle Scout Project Benefits Red Cross

Black Hills Eagle Scout

On Wednesday, January 30th the Black Hills Area Chapter recognized Noah Diamond on the completion of his Eagle Scout project. Noah developed a proposal to build storage shelves to organize Red Cross disaster supplies. This is a wonderful story of community partnership: disaster supplies purchased through grants from the John T. Vucurevich Foundation and Walmart Foundation, organized on shelves built by community members under the direction of a Boy Scout, in a building leased from the city of Rapid City.

We are grateful to Noah whose efforts have made an incredible difference to the Red Cross and ultimately our community.
