Fulton County Remembers Two Dedicated Volunteers

The Fulton County Office staff and volunteers mourn the recent passing of two dedicated volunteers: Opal Lauber from Pettisville, Ohio and Dale Pape from Archbold, Ohio. Opal served on the Fulton County Advisory Board for 18 years. Her involvement with the Red Cross began when she organized the first successful bloodmobile program, and continued to help with service to our veterans and military families and as a member of our Disaster Action Team. She retired in 2007 due to poor health, but still remained interested in the Red Cross.

Dale Pape served on our Board for 14 years and laid the ground work that has made the Fulton County Office such a success. He was an amazing fundraiser! Dale retired in 2003 but continued to support the Red Cross in Fulton County.

Both of these wonderful people will be missed not only by their families and Red Cross family, but also by all of the people whose lives were touched by them.
