For the past 18 years in Tampa the American Red Cross has held the Create your Own Gingerbread Event at the historical University of Tampa and at the Loews Don CeSar Hotel. This unique fundraising event brings together the Tampa community to celebrate the holiday season while supporting the American Red Cross. This event has quite a following! Last year over 400 guests from across the Tampa Bay area participated in a fun event while supporting a great cause. The day not only consist of the Gingerbread decorating contest, but also includes a brunch, holiday shopping with local vendors, and fabulous prizes!
